If you’re looking for something fun in fall or winter to do in Georgia, you’re in the right place and November couldn’t be more perfect for my suggested getaway. I took off for a few days to Mountain Creek Inn at Callaway Gardens and Resort and on my first day there, I headed up to the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain Georgia. I went alone on my first trip to the Wild Animal Safari to see how safe it was for kids (I’m overly protective) and I’m happy to say that I’m definitely going to take the grandkids one day. I had so much fun. I didn’t feel threatened by the animals at any time. I rented one of their safari cars with bars on the windows and I highly recommend doing that unless you want animal slobber all in your vehicle, lol.
There is also a little walk-thru zoo that I checked out while I was there. There’s not a whole lot of animals but the kids will really enjoy seeing them all up close.
My photos aren’t that great, I was driving, feeding animals and trying to snap photos all at the same time.
