New Logo from MoonluxStudio
Oh. My. Gosh. Do you notice anything different? It now feels like I’ve officially kicked off my new site because I now have a new logo. I wanted something catchy that would catch the attention of my family and friends who are scattered here and there. I’m not one who likes to talk on the phone much so when anyone asks how I am or what I’ve been up to, I can direct them to my site (I’m lame, I know) and avoid hour-long conversations. I wanted to brand my site and I feel like a good logo does that. After looking for days (weeks, well months to be honest), it wasn’t until after I officially launched my site, that I found my logo design.
We’ve had the worst weather here. I mean it’s been B.A.D. First came the hurricane where I lost everything in my refrigerator and freezer. Then came the flooding where I had to wade to my car. And now we’re being plagued with thunderstorms like (in the words of Mr. tRump) you’ve never seen before. So, sleeping hasn’t been working out for me, due to the aches and pains that this type of weather brings. And somehow I stumbled upon an Etsy Shop named MoonluxStudio in the middle of the night one day this week. I saw the logo and I fell instantly in love with it. So much so, that I sat up in my bed and said… THAT’S IT. Peanut was not amused at my waking him up at that hour.
So now, after I finish admiring it and gushing over it, I’m going to tweak my theme some to match the colors and I’m set and ready to rock and roll. I haven’t had a blog to gripe and complain over for a long time. I created Terri’s Little Haven for that purpose but it quickly turned into a professional blog and I don’t feel comfortable sharing personal things on it any longer (in fact, I made all of my personal posts private). I ordered a logo, banner, and even a business card design so I can have some made for all of my family and friends so they’ll never forget my URL, lol.
